UN: “Israel” committed war crimes in Nuseirat

GENEVA, June 12 (YPA) – The United Nations Human Rights Office said on Tuesday that there are fears of human rights violations and war crimes committed by the Israeli army during the operation to free the four hostages last Saturday.

The office stated that “it is not certain that Israel was careful about the number of bombs it used in the operation”, and even said that Hamas did not act properly by putting the kidnapped people in densely populated areas. It expressed its “deep shock” at the number of martyrs in the Israeli occupation operation to free the hostages in the “Nuseirat” camp.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip had reported that at least 274 Palestinians, including dozens of women and children, were killed in the operation.
