Hezbollah continues to bomb Israeli sites

BEIRIUT, June 08 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, continued on Friday to target Israeli occupation soldiers and military sites, in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their resistance.

The fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted, on Friday afternoon 7-6-2024, a military vehicle inside the “Birkat Risha” site with a guided missile, hitting it directly, Hezbollah said in a statement.

In another statement, Hezbollah confirmed that its fighters targeted the “Israeli” enemy’s artillery positions in “Khirbet Ma’ar” and a deployment of soldiers in the surrounding area with artillery shells.

The resistance confirmed that these attacks come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their courageous and honorable resistance.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli media spoke about the dangers of the war expanding with Lebanon, asserting that it would push Israel to the brink.

Amos Harel, a military affairs analyst for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, said that “a war with Hezbollah will bring a significant challenge to the home front, as the north and center will face a level and intensity of threat they have not faced before.”
