US pilot wounded after F-35 fighter jet crashed near air base

WASHINGTON, May 29 (YPA) – A US pilot was wounded on Tuesday when an F-35 fighter jet crashed after take-off in the US state of New Mexico, American media outlets reported.

The 35 military plane crashed near New Mexico’s Albuquerque International Sunport.
The sources said that the accident did not result in any casualties or injuries, except for the pilot, who was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The causes of the plane crash were not immediately known. It is considered one of the latest American combat aircraft, and its value is between 80 and 110 million dollars.
