SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – Protesters against the Israeli aggression on the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, attacked the Israeli embassy in the Mexican capital on Wednesday.
The demonstrators threw stones at the police, who prevented them from advancing towards the diplomatic compound in the Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood in the city.
About 200 people joined the demonstration, and 30 of the demonstrators began smashing obstacles preventing them from reaching the Israeli mission, while the police officers used tear gas and threw stones at the demonstrators.
The demonstration came to denounce the Israeli aggression on Rafah, which led to the flames of tents housing displaced Palestinians, resulting in the death of 45 people and the injury of 249 others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
