EU foreign policy chief condemns Israeli settlers’ attacks on humanitarian aid convoys

WORLD, May 15 (YPA) – EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, expressed his anger at repeated attacks by Israeli settlers on humanitarian aid convoys heading to the Gaza Strip.

“I’m outraged by the repeated & still unchecked attacks perpetrated by Israeli extremists on aid convoys on their way to Gaza, including from Jordan. Hundreds of thousands of civilians are starving,” Josep Borrell wrote in a post on his X account.

“IL authorities must stop these operations & hold those responsible accountable,” he added.

Days ago, Israeli settlers blocked the road to trucks loaded with humanitarian aid heading to the Gaza Strip in an incident that is not the first of its kind.

Video footage showed rocks along the muddy road to the besieged enclave for months.

The settlers also attacked a convoy of aid to Gaza near the Latrun junction west of Ramallah and tried to prevent it from reaching the Strip.
