Aden’s Free Zone employees organize protest

ADEN, May 06 (YPA) – Aden Free Zone employees organized on Monday a protest on Monday to demand the payment of their suspended salaries.

The employees expressed their anger after their salaries were stopped for the first time since the founding of the zone in 1997. They stressed the independence of the Aden Free Zone, financially and administratively, in accordance with Free Zone Law No. 4 of 1993.

The protesters called for the urgent need to release employee salaries that have been suspended since last March and to cancel any committees formed.
