30 reserve soldiers refuse to prepare for invasion of Rafah
OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 29 (YPA) – About 30 soldiers in the reserve forces of the Paratroopers Brigade in the Israeli occupation army refused orders to prepare for a military operation in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, under the pretext of their inability to continue fighting, according to what Israeli Channel 12 reported.
According to the report, 30 soldiers from the reserve paratroopers company attached to the regular paratroops brigade received an order to prepare for an operation in Rafah.
The channel explained that the soldiers refused orders to prepare and informed their leaders that they would not join their unit, because they were no longer able to do so.
According to the channel, “military commanders do not intend to force reserve personnel” to participate in the operation, and it stated that their non-participation will not lead to an operational gap.
