SHABWA, April 28 (YPA) – Dozens of workers and employees of the oil company in the coalition-held Shabwa province, have declared a general strike for the fourth straight.
In a protest rally, the protesters demanded the dismissal of the current administration amid accusations embezzling public funds, mismanagement, and marginalizing qualified personnel, as well as appointing unqualified employees to sensitive positions.
They called on the local authorities and concerned parties to intervene to find quick solutions to their demands in order to preserve the interests of citizens, adding that they would continue the comprehensive strike.
