Israeli occupation forces renew attacks on Lebanese towns

BEIRUT, April 07 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces renewed on Sunday its attacks on a number of villages and towns in southern Lebanon.

“The Israeli occupation warplanes targeted on Sunday at dawn the town of al-Safari in Baalbek district and the heights of the East Lebanon mountain range in the outskirts of the town of Jinta in al- Shaara district in eastern Lebanon,” according to Lebanese National News Agency.

Last night, Israeli enemy aircraft launched two air attacks, the first targeted the town of al-Taybeh on Deir Siryan road, and the second the town of al- Odaisseh in the south, while the outskirts of the town of Zebqin were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.

During the night, the Israeli enemy forces also fired flares in the airspace of the heights of the town of Shebaa and above the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the towns of al-Mansouri, Majdal Zun and al-Shaitiya.
