Al-Qassam Brigades carry out qualitative operations against Zionist forces in Gaza

GAZA, April 07 (YPA) -The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, carried out on Saturday qualitative operations in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, which is enduring a genocidal Israeli war.

“Al-Qassam fighters were able to target 3 Zionist Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells. As soon as the rescue forces advanced to the location and reached the middle of a minefield prepared in advance, they were targeted by the detonation of 3 anti-personnel explosive devices. Our fighters confirmed the killing of 6 Zionist soldiers, turning them into pieces, and causing a number of others to be killed or wounded. The event is still ongoing at the moment in the Al-Zana area, east of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip,” The Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement.

“After returning from the combat lines, our fighters confirmed targeting a Zionist Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, targeting a Zionist infantry force with an anti-personnel explosive, causing deaths and injuries among them. Helicopters landed to evacuate them in the Al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip,” the group said in another statement.

According to the statement, Al-Qassam fighters had eliminated five Zionist soldiers from point-blank range, wounded a number of others, and destroyed a Zionist troop carrier with a tandem shell in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip. They also destroyed a Zionist Merkava tank with a guerrilla action device in the same neighborhood.

Al-Qassam brigades added that their forces targeted the Zionist rescue forces and soldiers who fled the area and barricaded themselves in one of the houses surrounding the Al-Hadath area with an anti-personnel explosive device, confirming that three Zionist soldiers were killed and a number of others were wounded.
