US reveals Yemen’s new weapons putting into service against ships

SANAA, March 07 (YPA) – The United States revealed on Thursday that the Yemeni armed forces have put new weapons into service in the Red Sea attacks.

The American CNN channel quoted officials in the Biden administration expressing concern about the weapons used in the recent attack, noting that the “Houthis” will continue to surprise them and that they do not know the size and type of weapons used.

American officials commented on targeting the ship “True Confidence,” which is expected to sink after being subjected to an unprecedented strike since the start of Yemeni operations last November.

The attack on the ship resulted in a number of casualties among the crew, indicating to Yemeni operations have entered a new phase.
