Al-Qassam Brigades reveal new information about Zaytoun neighborhood

GAZA, Feb. 29 (YPA) – The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, broadcast Wednesday new scenes of its Mujahideen (fighters) targeting soldiers and vehicles of the Zionist enemy penetrating the Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

The scenes showed the Al-Qassam Mujahideen targeting enemy vehicles with anti-armor weapons, attacking enemy foot forces with mortar shells, and the arrival of helicopters to transport the dead and wounded of the enemy during the operation.

A leading official in the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that the battle in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood is being conducted with full force, ability, and control, indicating that they are still inflicting heavy losses on enemy vehicles, officers, and soldiers.

“The battle in the Zaytoun neighborhood was expected according to the information and intelligence documents we had that were obtained from the enemy,” he said.

The official affirmed during his speech that the enemy’s losses in the field are heavy and the battle is still ongoing.
