GAZA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – The head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, stressed on Monday the need to stop the ongoing Israeli massacres against children, women, and defenseless civilians
During his meeting with the Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Haniyeh stressed that the Movement “responded to the efforts of the mediator brothers, agreed to the course of negotiations on stopping the aggression, and showed great seriousness and flexibility, but it believes that the Zionist enemy is stalling, which the Movement will not accept in any way.”
Haniyeh pointed out that stopping the starvation war receives the highest degree of attention and should not be linked to any other issues.
“We will not allow the enemy to use negotiations as a cover for this crime,” he added.
Haniyeh stressed that Israel is stalling in responding to the ceasefire negotiations, stressing that his Movement will not accept such stalling.
