BEIRUT, Feb. 15 (YPA) -The Lebanese resistance launched on Wednesday its largest missile attack yet against the Israeli occupation.
This comes a day after Hezbollah’s leader threatened consequences for the Israeli attack on Rafah, after the failure of international efforts to neutralize it.
Israeli media reported that seven people were injured so far as a result of a missile bombardment at targeted points and sites in the city of Safed. Other settlements in occupied southern Lebanon were also attacked with precision missiles, most notably Kiryat Shmona and Meron.
The Israeli announcement came minutes after the Lebanese resistance factions launched three missile salvoes with dozens of rocket shells against the occupation positions.
The attack, which was described as a major strike, came a day after a speech by Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, in which he stressed that Lebanese resistance operations would not stop as long as the war and siege on Gaza continued.
This statement was in response to reports of a French proposal to neutralize Lebanese-Israeli border fighting.
