US Secretary of State confirms Washington’s determination to continue  war against Yemen

SANAA, July 11 (YPA) – The US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo returned to mixing the papers to justify the US military campaign against Yemen by reiterating that Washington is fighting the Iranian threat in Yemen.

In an interview with Sky News channel , “ regarding the Iranian threats, the whole world must be aware that the United States is committed to maintaining maritime routes and the flow of oil throughout the world, he said, adding that this is the commitment of the United States for decades, and we will continue with this commitment”.

According to a number of observers, the statements bore all the contradictions, when he began to talk about what he termed the “Iranian threat to international navigation”, after the cancelation of the nuclear deal with Iran by Washington he linked the issues with the  Saudi-led coalition assault on Yemen’s western coast.

They said, Mike Pompeo, has Forgetting that the campaign of the Alliance states, together with America, began before Washington canceling the nuclear deal with Iran.

Political analysts believe that the latest Pompeo’s remarks to Sky News show that there are malicious intentions being premeditated by Washington.

The United States will in the future fabricate terrorist acts, liking targeting commercial ships in Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea, they added.

In the US point of view, the presence of US military bases on the islands and coasts of Yemen ” is imperative to protect the international navigation route, they said, adding in particular, Washington has prepared itself to warn of the expansion of the influence of terrorist groups in Yemen, because of the coalition war as if America is not the main partner in this war.
