GENEVA, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The World Health Organization (WHO) denied on Friday the Israeli entity’s accusations about the WHO’s collusion with Hamas movement.
The WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus also said on the “X” platform that such false accusations could endanger its staff on the ground, as they risk their lives to serve the vulnerable.
“The organization as a United Nations agency, is neutral and works for the health and well-being of everyone,” he added.
The accusations came in an interview with the Zionist entity’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Meirav Eilon Shahar, during a meeting of the Executive Council of the World Health Organization on Thursday, according to Reuters report.
For its part, Hamas movement condemned the incitement campaign launched by the Zionist enemy against the international institutions that contribute to providing relief to the people of the Gaza Strip, calling on the United Nations and international institutions not to yield to the occupation’s threats.
