GAZA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – Hamas movement rejected on Wednesday the statements of the US National Security Council’s Strategic Communications Coordinator, John Kirby, about that Gaza Strip in the future, after the Israeli aggression.
“The American remarks and other positions similar to the administration of President Biden are blatant interference in the affairs of our Palestinian people, and a continuation of the patronage approach through which it seeks to maintain its control over the decisions and choices of the people,” Hamas said in a statement.
The statement affirmed that the movement is an authentic component of the Palestinian people who are steadfast in the face of the American administration-backed Nazi occupation.
“We will not allow it or anyone else to impose guardianship over our free people, who have the highest say in choosing their leadership and determining their fate,” it added.
On Tuesday, Kirby said in a press conference at the White House that his country also rejects any role for Hamas and its leaders in any form of governance in Gaza after the war.”
