Yemen armed forces target US military ship

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Yemen’s Armed Forces attacked on Monday, in a military operation, a U.S. military cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden.

Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahiya Sarie, affirmed in a statement that the ship (Ocean Jazz) was targeted with appropriate naval missiles, in response to the American-British aggression.

“The response to the American and British attacks is inevitably coming,” Sarie stated. “Any new aggression will not pass without a punishment.”

He reiterated the Yemeni Armed Forces are continuing to prevent Israeli ships or ships bound to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression is stopped and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

The spokesman added that the armed forces are going on to take all defensive and offensive measures within the right to defend Yemen and to support Palestine.
