Meteorology expects weather to be dry, cold in various provinces

SANAA, Jan. 07 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected on Sunday that the weather will be dry and cold in various provinces of Yemen in the coming hours.

The center affirmed in air bulletin that Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Al-Dhalea, Ibb, Jawf and Marib province will be affected by this weather, as well as to the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.

Partly cloudy weather prevails in the coastal areas in general, the center added, winds are moderate to brisk around the Socotra Archipelago, the southern and western coasts, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with speeds ranging between 12-23 knots.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the late hours of the night and early morning, as well as travelers to the provinces mentioned above, of the cold weather.
