SANAA, Jan. 03 (YPA) -The Caretaker Government in Sanaa strongly denounced the egregious American assault on Yemeni naval vessels in the Red Sea last Sunday, which resulted in the martyrdom of brave individuals and caused injuries to others.
This came during its meeting on Tuesday chaired by Prime Minister Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor.
Emphasizing that this fresh aggression and the accompanying US-British threats against Yemen are extensions of the aggression initiated by the US and UK since March 2015, the government highlighted their attempt to deter the Yemeni Armed Forces from fulfilling their duty of supporting the Palestinian cause.
Commending the official spokesman for the Armed Forces’ statement regarding the attack on Yemeni naval vessels and the confirmation of an appropriate response, the government stressed that the true threat to the security of the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Arabian Sea arises from the illegal presence of foreign forces, specifically the American and British forces. These forces pose a significant danger to maritime navigation and overall Arab national security.
The government reaffirmed that the leadership, government, and people of Yemen, will not be weakened by US-British threats and their criminal aggression. Instead, it will only strengthen their determination to continue their moral and humanitarian duty towards the Palestinians.
The government praised the courageous operations of Palestinian resistance factions in confronting the brutal Israeli military machine and the Zionist West. It applauded the strategic outcomes achieved in favor of the Palestinian cause, countering the conspiracy aimed at its dissolution.
Denouncing the continual disgraceful stance of Arab regimes toward the killings, displacements, and atrocities faced by the Palestinians in Gaza and other Palestinian cities, the government stressed that history won’t pardon those who neglect their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty to support the oppressed.
