SANAA, Dec. 28 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, said on Thursday that Sanaa has contacts with several countries that confirmed they are not present at the Red Sea.
“Other nations informed Sanaa that their presence in the coalition that America established to protect Israeli ships is limited to sending officers to Bahrain,” he added.
“The confusion among some countries that America requires to join the coalition stems med from the conviction that there is no legitimacy for this move,” UNews Press Agency, quoted Abdul-Salam as saying. “Washington is trying to provoke some countries to enter this coalition to protect Israel.”
He pointed out that the Yemeni naval forces communicate with all ships daily, stressing that international maritime lanes are safe and stable, and hundreds of ships pass every day from the Red Sea.
