PARIS, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Dozens of pro-Palestine activists in France threw leaflets condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, inside one of the largest shopping centers in the city of Lyon, southeast of the capital, Paris.
The French media said that the incident occurred on Saturday.
A video clip that spread on social media documented a group of demonstrators angry at the war in Gaza inside the “Part-Dieu” shopping center, throwing leaflets condemning the complicity of major brands and naming the Palestinian children who were martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression.
The French media said that before heading to the shopping center, approximately 500 demonstrators gathered in the middle of the most important squares in the French city of Lyon and raised slogans demanding justice for the Palestinian people, denounced the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza, and demanded a ceasefire.
Although the authorities in France suppressed and banned pro-Gaza demonstrations, the protests did not stop in French cities. Demonstrations took place on a weekly basis, demanding a ceasefire and condemning Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip, especially in the capital, Paris, and the country’s major cities, such as Lyon and Marseille.
