WORLD, Dec. 21 (YPA) – Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, headed his country’s delegation participating in the meeting of the sixth session of the Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum held in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 20, 2023, in the presence of the Foreign Ministers of the Arab States, the Russian Federation and the Secretary General of the League of Arab states.
In his speech delivered on the occasion, the Secretary of State reiterated Tunisia’s firm and clear position on the brutal aggression inflicted on the Palestinian people by the army of the occupying power, calling for an immediate cessation of this barbaric aggression, to working to deliver immediate and adequate relief assistance to the Palestinian people and to putting an end to the unjust siege imposed on them in the Gaza Strip and all Palestinian Territories.
The Secretary of State affirmed Tunisia’s full support for the brotherly Palestinian people and their legitimate and just struggle for liberation from the yoke of occupation, the restoration of their legitimate and inalienable national rights and the establishment of their independent and fully sovereign State with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
