GAZA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – The Palestinian telecommunications company “Jawwal” announced on Sunday the return of communications to the Gaza Strip after a break of about four days.
Ma’an News Agency quoted the company in a press statement saying: “We would like to announce the beginning of the return of telecommunications services (fixed, Cellular and internet) to work gradually in the central and southern areas of the Gaza Strip”.
“Our crews were able to reach the main fault site and repair it after many attempts over the past days and the intervention of the relevant international authorities, despite the obstacles and under extremely difficult and dangerous field conditions”, the company said.
“We point out that our crews are working hard according to the possibilities available to restore services in Gaza City and northern Gaza”, the company added.
