Gunmen target senior military official in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 11 (YPA) – Gunmen of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions attacked the Minister of Defense of the coalition-affiliated government” in the center of the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Local sources in the city explained that the members of the STC’s leader, Abdel Nasser Al-Bawa Al-Yafei, known as Abu Hammam, targeted the house of the minster, Mohsen Al-Daeri, with a barrage of fire, then fled towards the Al-Shaab area in Al-Buraiqa district.

This came after the bodyguards of Al-Daari damaged a vehicle belonging to Abdel Nasser Al-Bawa Al-Yafei on Sunday, in the road leading to the Al-Shaab area, and within the framework of the conflict between factions loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces.
