WORLD, Nov. 24 (YPA) – The Zionist entity refused to participate in the “Union for the Mediterranean” forum to discuss peace in the Gaza Strip, Spanish media reported on Friday.
The Spanish newspaper “La Razon”, quoted unnamed Israeli diplomatic sources saying: “The danger of the meeting is to turn into another international forum in which Arab countries attack Israel,” noting that “Israel does not intend to participate in this meeting.”
The newspaper added that Spain wanted to turn the “Union for the Mediterranean” forum, which will be held next Monday in Barcelona, into a summit to bring peace between the Zionist entity and Palestine.
“Israel” refused to participate immediately after the official meeting of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to the paper.
The Palestinian resistance and the Zionist entity, on Wednesday, reached a four-day agreement truce mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. The truce included the exchange of dozens of prisoners and detainees.
Aid trucks are supposed to enter Gaza in these four days, according to the truce agreement.
The truce in the Gaza Strip took effect at 7 a.m. on Friday.
