Reuters: US forces in Syria have been subjected to 4 attacks in 24 hours

WORLD, Nov. 13 (YPA)- The US forces in Syria have been subjected to at least four attacks within 24 hours, Reuters news agency reported on Monday , citing a US military official.

According to the US military official, the US and international forces stationed in northeastern Syria have been attacked at least 4 times in less than 24 hours.

The agency noted that drones and missiles were used in the attacks, noting that there were no casualties as a result of the attacks. The attacks caused minor damage to infrastructure.

Earlier, the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” announced that its fighters targeted the American occupation base in the Green Village in the Syrian depth with a drone, which directly hit its target.

On the other hand, at least six people were killed as a result of US strikes on Iranian Revolutionary Guard facilities in Syria on Monday night, Fox News reported, citing a source in the Pentagon.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed that US forces attacked two targets of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and pro-Iranian groups in eastern Syria in response to the ongoing bombing of US forces in the Middle East.

The United States accused Iran and its allies of carrying nearly fifty attacks on US forces and military bases in Iraq and Syria and is carrying out retaliatory strikes for a third time.

Military bases in Iraq and Syria, housing US forces have been  subjected to drones and missiles attacks since the launch of “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation on October 7.
