ADEN, Nov. 04 (YPA) – The Saudi-formed Dera al-Watan factions have positioned near the southern coast overlooking the city Aden, south of Yemen.
Sources familiar with the matter said that the leadership of the Saudi forces present in Aden gathered Dera al-Watan factions during the past days, after they created advanced military sites near Lahj’s Al-Anad base and Tur Al-Baha district, which is close to the Gulf of Aden and Bab Al-Mandab after training new batches of its factions in the region.
The sources indicated that the leadership of the Saudi forces distributed weapons and equipment to those factions, in a trend described as dangerous, amid the fears and silence of a number of leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
The armed factions led by UAE-funded Tariq Saleh have controlled a number of important sites in the districts of Al-Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara near Bab Al-Mandab Strait until the coastal city of Mocha, west of Taiz province.
