Transport ministry condemns coalition for closing Ghaida airport

SANAA, July 8 (YPA) – The ministry of transport on Sunday condemned the closing of Gahida airport in Maharah province by the Saudi-led coalition, the ministry said in a statement reported by state run Saba news agency.

“The coalition occupation forces blocked Yemeni citizens of Mahara province from using their civil airport,” said the ministry, adding that “The occupation forces turned the airport into a military base.

The ministry called on the UN, international community and human rights organizations to press the coalition forces to leave Yemen and its ports.
