STC factions prevent entry of domestic gas tankers to Aden

ABYAN, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions have prevented gas tankers from entering Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

Local sources in the city said that “STC elements in the coastal city of Shuqra of Abyan province detained dozens of domestic gas tankers and commercial goods during the past hours under the pretext of “they are overloading”.

The sources added that the commanders of the elements demanded that the drivers of gas tankers unload the excess load, estimated at a ton, into the open air.

The pro-coalition authorities continue to compound the suffering of the people of Aden in all basic services, including electricity, water, and sanitation.
