SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Hundreds of thousands of Yemeni citizens performed Friday prayer today, in the Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a, in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in the face of the Zionist entity.
The head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, joined the gathered crowds in performing Friday prayers, participating in the march in support of Gaza after the prayer.
In the Friday sermon, the head of the Higher Committee of the National Campaign to Support Al-Aqsa, Muhammad Muftah, called on the people of the nation, doctors and pharmacists to collect medicines, and donations and put pressure on the Egyptian regime to bring them into Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
He expressed his appreciation and thanks for all the efforts made to support Palestine.
Muftah addressed the spineless men by saying: Do not accept the shame of negligence in light of the crimes and atrocities committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza.”
He affirmed that “the “Al-Aqsa flood” Operation is the battle of right against falsehood, and anyone who seeks to confuse or distort this battle in the media is on the side of the enemy and on his side.”
Muftah pointed out that this battle exposed the criminality of the Zionists and exposed the regimes that had normalization agreements with the Zionist entity and Western countries that claim to defend human rights.
He saluted the heroes who carried out this heroic operation.
After Friday prayers, the crowds raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans of freedom that condemned the war of extermination committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinians in Gaza.
They affirmed that the Palestinian cause was and still is the first and central issue for the Yemeni people.
The crowds condemned the positions of the international community and regimes that had normalization agreements, toward the war of extermination against the Palestinian people by the Zionist enemy.
The crowds expressed readiness to participate in the battle to liberate Palestine and continue to pay every dear thing in order to liberate the occupied territories and the cleansing of holy sites from the defilement of the Zionists.
A statement issued by the rally affirmed full support for the Palestinian cause, its people, and resistance movements.
The statement denounced the siege and crimes of genocide committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza and elsewhere, with the support of America and the Western countries.
It also condemned all forms of support carried out by America and the West for the Zionist entity, which they planted to form the head of its war by targeting the nation and its holy sites.
The statement further strongly denounced the reality reached by Arab rulers and puppet regimes that had had normalization agreements with the Zionist entity and their shameful role in dislocating the nation and preparing the stage for its arrogant enemies.
It called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations, their scholars, intellectuals, elites, and various segments to shoulder their religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility to move consciously to express indignation and rejection of the crimes committed by the enemies against humanity.
Moreover, the statement further called on the people of the nation to prepare for confrontation in all its forms, including the boycott of American and Israeli goods, which have a great impact on enemies.
The statement stressed the importance of serious interaction with the national campaign in support of Al-Aqsa in a way that reflects the greatness, awareness, and originality of this people, and the Yemeni wisdom and faith.
