Israeli occupation launches assassination operation against Palestinian prisoners

GAZA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced in a joint statement on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation has begun a systematic assassination operation against prisoners.

Omar Daraghmeh, 58, one of leaders of Hamas Movement who Israeli enemy’s army arrested on Oct. 9, was assassinated by the occupation on Monday.

The statement stated: “Prisoner Arafat Yasser Hamdan, 25, from the town of Beit Sira, Ramallah district, , who was arrested by the occupation had arrested him on October 22, was assassinated in Ofer prison, as part of the recent arrest campaigns in the West Bank.”

Earlier, the Israeli Prisons Administration announced in a statement the death of a detainee from Megiddo Prison due to a health illness.
