Sanaa court convicts six drug dealers, traffickers

SANAA, Sept. 25 (YPA) – A Specialized Criminal Court in Sanaa, convicted on Sunday six drug dealers and traffickers.

In a session, headed by Judge Abdullah Dawas, the court issued a death penalty against Mohammed Musa Ahmed Al Mahamedi, who was convicted of participating in an organized gang to bring, transport, sell, and buy narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking.

Abdul Rahman Ali Ahmed Al Majzoub, Abdullah Yahya Mohammad Al Shadhi, Qais Hussein Ahmed Al Jama’i, Yasser Mohammed Musa Al Mahamedi, and Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al Faqih, also received a 25 year prison sentence, on charges of crime of possession, transport and promotion of narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking.
