Saudi Arabia seizes revenues of Yemen’s Al-Wadiah outlet

HADRMOUT, Sept. 24 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia seized on Sunday the revenues of Yemen’s most important ports in Hadramout province, east of Yemen.

Media sources reported that Commander of Support and Assistance in the coalition, Sultan Al-Baqmi, directed that the revenue file of Al-Wadiah border crossing be handed over to a special committee that he personally supervises, under the name “Returning Revenues to Hadramout.”

Al-Baqmi arrived earlier at the only land port between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, accompanied by the coalition-appointed governor Hadramout, Mabkhoot bin Mubarak bin Madhi, following the faltering recovery of the coalition-held port.

Al-Wadiah border crossing is one of the most important ports that gets billions for Yemen every month, and its revenues during the first half of this month reached about 22 billion riyals.
