STC Security commander suspnds work of courts in Dhalea

DHALEA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – A number of judges in the provincial courts in Dhalea province, on Wednesday suspended work of the courts in a protest against the practices of the so-called Security Belt forces  affilated with the UAE-backed Southern Transtional Council (STC) – Dhalea Security Director Ahmed Al-Qubba, who they said insult the judiciary and obstruct implementation of laws in the province.

A statement issued by the judges said that the “Al-Qubba” broke the rulings of the judiciary, and helped some of those who were sentenced to violate laws and insulted the judiciary, in a strange and deliberate act aimed at disrupting the work of the judiciary in Dhalea.

The statement called on the concerned authorities to address the relevant bodies to oblige the security services to cooperate with the judiciary to implement laws in order to preserve people’s rights.

It is noteworthy that the Court of Al-Hussain had recently issued a provision in force in the case of in a wall drilling near to a previous well, except by applying the legal dimension of 500 meters, so that Ahmed Al-Qobba protects the driller with security vehicles, to drill the well and at an illegal distance, defying the court’s ruling.
