Tunisia witnesses sudden power outage across country

WORLD, Sept. 20 (YPA)- Tunisia witnessed a sudden power outage last night in various regions of the country.

 According to the Tunisian Company for Electricity and Gas, the power outage has affected the entire country, and the reasons are still unknown.

 The director of communication of the Tunisian company denied the reports about an explosion at the station “Rades”, stressing that the technical teams are working to restore electricity.

 Following a power outage at dawn on Wednesday, The Interior Minister Kamal Feki headed to the power plant in Rades city to investigate the reasons behind the blackout, his ministry said.
