RABAT, Sept. 17 (YPA) – The Moroccan army has recently received advanced rocket launchers from Israel that operate with the “PULS” system.
This advanced system is one of the most important pillars of the deterrent capabilities acquired by the Royal Artillery Force, according to the media.
The delivery of this missile system comes within the framework of a contract with the Israeli company “Elbit Systems”, worth $150 million.
The Israeli company said that “the contract will be implemented over a period of three years,” noting that the “PULS” missiles from Elbit Systems provide a comprehensive and cost-effective solution so that unguided missiles, precision-guided munitions, and missiles can be launched with an effective range of up to 300 kilometers.
Last July, the Israeli Elbit Systems company announced that it had won a $150 million contract to supply PULS missile launchers and a range of long-range missiles to an international customer, according to a statement issued by the company. The candidate country is Morocco, which has entered into advanced negotiations to purchase this system.
