ADEN, Sept. 14 (YPA) – A citizen’s car was stolen on Wednesday at gunpoint by an armed gang in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition factions, local sources said.
According to the sources, “three gunmen beat the citizen Qassim Yahya Qahtan after luring him to drive them to a ride in the area of Al-Mamdara in Sheikh Othman distrct, and they looted his car at gunpoint.”
The sources added that the gunmen, believed to belong to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions, assaulted the citizen inside his car and forced him to hand it over near one of the military checkpoints.
They fled to an unknown destination, one of the sources said.
