Sever sandstorm with high winds hits Aden

ADEN, Sept. 12 (YPA) – A significant sandstorm with high winds hit numerous sections of Aden, which is held by the Saudi-led coalition in southern Yemen, on Tuesday afternoon, creating reduced visibility.

Local sources reported that the sandstorm came from the city’s northwestern side, indicating that the storm began in the Al-Buraiqa neighborhood before sweeping the remainder of the city, without mentioning any damage.

According to the sources, the sandstorm blanketed significant areas of Lahj province and was accompanied by high winds.
