SHABWA, Sept, 12 (YPA) – Al-Amaliqa factions funded by the UAE refused to leave a rural hospital in Shabwa province after being turned into a military barracks at the beginning of this year.
Dozens of people of Osaylan district called on the coalition-run local authorities to remove the Al-Amaliqa members (Giants) who control the women’s emergency and outpatient clinics.
They confirmed that the presence of these forces backed by the extremist Salafist elements have caused the disruption of various services provided to patients due to the lack of bed rooms, leading to transferring patients to other hospitals in the city of Ataq, the center of the province.
This came after the hospital administration admitted that it granted Al-Amaliqa members two residential apartments, two training halls, and other housing annexes without evacuating them from Osaylan Rural Hospital.
