Woman killed in Taiz thunderbolt

TAIZ, Sept. 06 (YPA) – A girl was killed on Wednesday when a thunderbolt hit a home in Taiz province.

Local sources said that the thunderbolt targeted their family’s home in the village of Al-Awashiq of Al-Waziyah district.

Media statistics revealed the number of victims of thunderbolts in Yemen during the current season, have reach 156 deaths due to lightning, which raised the number of victims to more than 160 people as a preliminary statistic.
