Supreme Political Council condemns American presence in Hadramout
SANAA, Sept. 06 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council in Sanaa on Wednesday condemned the American presence in Hadramout province and the landing of American Marines at schools in Sayoun, stressing that “every inch of the homeland will be purged of the filth of the invaders and occupation.”
At its meeting today chaired by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Supreme Political Council reviewed the latest developments on the internal and external arenas.
Regarding what was raised in the media recently, the meeting confirmed that “the Council is in a major battle with the US-Saudi aggression coalition to take away the rights, sovereignty, and independence of the Yemeni people and that everyone’s position is the homeland and its defense.”
The Council also affirmed that every media’s coverage outside this framework perpetuates the image that the enemy is looking for to tear apart the homeland, which is what the lurking fifth column is working on through exploiting incitement in the context of serving the agenda of aggression coalition.
In addition, the council listened to a briefing by the president on the efforts made regarding the negotiations.
The Council also condemned the heinous crime committed by mercenary militias in Sabr al-Mawadim in Taiz against a citizen by torturing and dragging him, stressing that those who committed this crime would receive deterrent punishment wherever they are.
