Lahj: Three brothers kill their father, girl commits suicide

LAHJ, Aug 31 (YPA) – Lahj province witnessed a heinous crime on Wednesday evening, as three brothers killed their father in the Al-Anad area.

Citizens revealed that the crime occurred after sunset where the brothers killed their father, Faisal al-Ashwal, before fleeing.

In terms of lawlessness and the spread of crimes in the occupied southern governorates, citizens found a girl hanged inside her home in Al-Maqatira district in Lahj governorate.

According to the sources, an 18-year-old girl was found hanged inside her house located in the Darb area of the district of Al-Maqtara.”

“The girl committed suicide, and hung herself in the ceiling fan of their house, because of her father’s refusal to allow her to complete high school,” one of the sources said.
