SANAA, Aug. 30 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday scattered showers falling on different areas of Yemeni provinces.
The center said, in its weather forecast, that the possibility of rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, would prevail over parts of Shabwa, Bayda, Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Rayma, Mahweet, Hajjah, and Saada, as well as to Sanaa, Amran, Mahra, Hadramout and Mahra.
The center affirmed that active to strong winds around the Socotra archipelago, with a speed ranging between 20-40 knots, while 10-25 knots would target parts of the eastern and southern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
It warned citizens against being in valleys and water culverts during the flow of rains.
