Russian forces repel Ukrainian drone attacks on Pskov airport

WORLD, Aug 30 (YPA) – Russian forces repelled on Wednesday Ukrainian drone attacks on Pskov airport in western Russia, according to Pskov governor.

“The defense ministry is repelling a drone attack on Pskov’s airport,” Pskov regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov said on Telegram.

Vedernikov, who said he was at the scene of the attack, added: “According to preliminary information, there are no victims.”

He added that more detailed information would be provided.

Earlier, Pskov residents spoke of a fire near the city’s airport, and explosions were reportedly heard beforehand.
