Clashes erupt between tribesmen, Islah militants in Marib

MARIB, Aug 30 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted at dawn on Wednesday, in the east of Marib city, which is under the control of Islah militants loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

Local sources reported the clashes erupted between the Hatik Obeida family and Islah road security forces near Safer, east of Marib, after the tribesmen blocked the road.

According to the sources, the clashes continued until Wednesday morning.

No casualties have been reported so far.
