STC launches massive campaign of arrests in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces launched on Monday a massive campaign of arrests in the city of Aden.

Local sources said that the STC forces raided a number of citizens’ homes today in search of wanted persons in Al-Mansoura district of Aden after armed clashes broke out in a number of neighborhoods and streets with the militants of the “February 16” movement.

Informed sources revealed that the STC has sent military and security reinforcements today to the Al-Mansoura district, and the patrols and armored vehicles were deployed in different areas of the district, especially in the areas surrounding the ‘Southern Movement’ Square.
