HADRAMOUT, Aug. 28 (YPA) – Foreign employees were kidnapped on Monday by armed elements on the road linking the provinces of Hadramout and Marib, which are under the control of the coalition-backed armed factions in eastern Yemen.
Human rights sources familiar with the matter reported that unknown gunmen kidnapped the employees working for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, on the road linking the cities of Seiyun of Hadramout and Marib, including a German and another from Myanmar.
The sources confirmed that the kidnapping took place despite the presence of dozens of military points belonging to the Islah Party factions loyal to the coalition, without any explanation from the MSF.
