ADEN, Aug 28 (YPA) – The fate of the leader of the February 16 movement, Walid Al-Idrissi, has been revealed following news of his liquidation after being arrested in al-Mansoura Square in Aden, southern Yemen, informed sources reported on Sunday.
The southern activity Ali al-Nasi said in a post on his “X” platform: “What happened to Walid al-Idrissi is that he was tortured in detention center and was taken to a hospital for treatment.”
On Saturday, the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) stormed the square and fired various light and medium arms at the demonstrators. Multiple people were injured and the leader of the February 16 movement, Walid Al-Idrissi was arrested.
