STC issues order to arrest media activist Al-Tamimi in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Aug 25 (YPA) – The UAE’s Southern Transitional Council (STC) directed local authorities in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout governorate, to arrest media activist Alwaleed bin Shamlan Al-Tamimi.

According to sources close to Al- Tamimi, “the deputy head of the STC in Hadramout , Faraj al-Bahsani, directed the prosecution in Mukalla to arrest the activist Al-Tamimi for criticizing him through posts on social media.”

Al-Tamimi said  in a post on  “Facebook” platform that Faraj al-Bahsani is very upset with his recent posts, stressing his right to criticize al-Bahsani as an official in the UAE-backed council.

Al-Tamimi accused al-Bahsani of harming his family life and causing  psychological and material damage to it .
